Location: Horizon Bamboo City, United States

Salary: USD: $30,000 - $50,000 annually

Horizon Bamboo Tech University is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Instructional Design Specialist to join our dynamic team. As an Instructional Design Specialist, you will work closely with subject matter experts and other team members to design, develop, and implement effective learning solutions that meet the needs of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify learning objectives, content, and assessments for various training programs.
• Design and develop engaging and interactive training materials, including instructor-led classroom training, e-learning modules, videos, job aids, and other materials as needed.
• Use instructional design principles and adult learning theory to create effective learning experiences that align with business goals and objectives.
• Utilize various instructional design methodologies and tools to develop high-quality training materials, including ADDIE, SAM, and rapid prototyping.
• Work closely with multimedia developers, graphic designers, and other team members to create visually appealing and engaging training materials.
• Conduct needs assessments and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs using various methods, such as surveys, focus groups, and performance data.
• Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in instructional design and adult learning.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure training materials are delivered on time and within budget.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, education, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in instructional design, preferably in a corporate setting.
• Strong understanding of instructional design principles, adult learning theory, and learning technologies.
• Proficient in using various instructional design tools, such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or Camtasia.
• Experience with learning management systems and e-learning authoring tools.
• Excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with subject matter experts, team members, and stakeholders.
• Creative problem-solving skills and ability to think outside the box to develop innovative learning solutions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
