Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop shipbuilding plans and specifications based on client requirements and industry standards.
Oversee the construction process, ensuring that all materials and equipment used meet safety and quality standards.
Collaborate with project managers, naval architects, and other engineers to ensure successful completion of shipbuilding projects.
Conduct inspections and tests on ships during the construction process to ensure compliance with design specifications.
Analyze and troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise during the shipbuilding process.
Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets, ensuring that all projects are completed on time and within budget.
Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and changes in regulations to incorporate the latest technologies and practices into shipbuilding projects.
Provide technical support and guidance to construction teams, ensuring that all work is carried out according to design specifications.
Participate in meetings with clients and other stakeholders to discuss project progress and address any concerns or questions.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in shipbuilding, preferably in a leadership role.
In-depth knowledge of shipbuilding principles, materials, and techniques.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other ship design software.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Knowledge of industry regulations and standards.
Willingness to travel and work on-site at shipyards.
