Job Title: Grocery Store Supervisor

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and motivated Grocery Store Supervisor to join our team. As a Grocery Store Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our grocery store, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. This is a hands-on role that requires strong leadership skills, excellent customer service, and a passion for the retail industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the grocery store, including but not limited to inventory management, stocking, and customer service.
• Train, supervise, and schedule a team of grocery store associates to ensure exceptional customer service and productivity.
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ensuring that all products are stocked and displayed in an organized and visually appealing manner.
• Implement and enforce company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and cash handling procedures.
• Manage and resolve customer complaints, ensuring that all issues are addressed promptly and to the satisfaction of the customer.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy of inventory levels and proper pricing of products.
• Collaborate with the store manager to develop and implement strategies to increase sales and improve overall store performance.
• Create and maintain a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork and open communication among staff members.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market changes, and competitors' activities, making recommendations to the store manager as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in a retail environment, preferably in a grocery store.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor a team.
• Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on creating a positive shopping experience for customers.
• Knowledge of inventory management, stocking, and merchandising techniques.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and inventory management software.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Working Conditions:

• This is a Full-time position, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Must be able to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Work environment includes exposure to refrigerated and frozen products, as well as occasional exposure to inclement weather.
