Job Title: Biotechnology Process Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Biotechnology Process Engineer to join our team. As a Biotechnology Process Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and implementing biotechnology processes to support the production of biopharmaceutical products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that all processes are efficient, cost-effective, and in compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize biotechnology processes for the production of biopharmaceutical products, including cell culture, purification, and formulation processes.
• Conduct experiments and analyze data to identify areas for process improvement and optimization.
• Design and execute process validation studies to ensure consistency and reliability of biotechnology processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvements, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure all processes are in compliance with industry standards and regulations, such as FDA, EMA, and ICH guidelines.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures, batch records, and reports.
• Lead technology transfer activities to move processes from development to manufacturing.
• Train and mentor team members on biotechnology processes and equipment.
• Participate in process design reviews, risk assessments, and root cause analyses.
• Keep up-to-date with advancements and innovations in biotechnology processes and technologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in process engineering, preferably in the biotechnology or biopharmaceutical industry.
• Strong knowledge of biotechnology processes, including cell culture, fermentation, chromatography, and filtration.
• Experience with process optimization, design of experiments (DOE), and statistical data analysis.
• Familiarity with process validation and GMP regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
