Position Summary: We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Passenger Transport Driver to join our team. As a Passenger Transport Driver, you will be responsible for providing safe and efficient transportation services to passengers while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer satisfaction. This position requires exceptional driving skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a passenger transport vehicle, following all traffic laws and regulations
• Provide a high level of customer service by assisting passengers with boarding and exiting the vehicle
• Maintain a neat and clean vehicle, both inside and out
• Monitor traffic and weather conditions to ensure timely arrival at scheduled destinations
• Follow designated routes and schedules, while also being able to adapt to unexpected changes or delays
• Collect fares and issue tickets or receipts as needed
• Communicate effectively with passengers, addressing any concerns or questions they may have
• Report any vehicle malfunctions or safety hazards to the appropriate department
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as federal and state regulations
• Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, and passenger counts

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in passenger transportation or a related field
• Knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and remain calm in high-stress situations
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Physically capable of loading and unloading luggage and assisting passengers with mobility needs
• Must pass a background check and drug screening

Working Conditions: This position requires you to spend a significant amount of time driving and sitting. You will also be exposed to various weather conditions, such as heat, cold, rain, and snow. You may need to work irregular hours, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays. As a Passenger Transport Driver, you must also be able to handle stressful and unpredictable situations while maintaining a professional demeanor.
