Position: Policy Analyst

Job Description: We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Policy Analyst to join our team. As a Policy Analyst, you will play a crucial role in helping our organization navigate complex policy issues and provide strategic guidance. You will be responsible for conducting research, analyzing data, and developing policy proposals that align with our organization's goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth research on local, state, and federal policies and regulations related to our organization's industry.
• Analyze data and information to identify trends, patterns, and potential impacts on our organization.
• Develop policy proposals and recommendations based on your research and analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather input and feedback on proposed policies.
• Monitor and track policy changes and updates, and provide timely updates to the organization.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and other materials to communicate policy proposals and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.
• Act as a subject matter expert on policy issues, both internally and externally.
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and changes in policies and regulations.
• Build relationships and collaborate with external stakeholders, including government agencies, advocacy groups, and industry associations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in policy analysis or a related field.
• Strong understanding of the policy-making process and knowledge of local, state, and federal policies and regulations.
• Excellent research and analytical skills, with the ability to gather, interpret, and present complex data and information.
• Proven experience in developing policy proposals and recommendations.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas and concepts in a clear and concise manner.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Proactive and adaptable, with the ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
