Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and manage the performance of our freight operations team, including drivers, dispatchers, and warehouse staff.
Assign and schedule daily tasks and routes for drivers, ensuring that all shipments are delivered on time and in good condition.
Oversee the loading and unloading of freight, ensuring that all safety protocols and procedures are followed.
Communicate with customers and provide status updates on shipments, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
Train and mentor new team members and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to existing team members.
Maintain accurate records of shipments, delivery times, and inventory levels.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure the smooth operation of our freight transportation services.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in freight operations or a similar role.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Knowledge of transportation regulations and compliance.
Proficient in using transportation management systems and other software programs.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
