Delivery Driver

We are seeking a reliable and responsible Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering products to our customers in a safe and efficient manner. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers receive their orders on time and in good condition. To excel in this role, you should have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and good communication skills. You should also be physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy items. Your ability to follow directions and adhere to safety regulations is essential in this role. Position: Delivery Driver

Responsibilities:

• Deliver products to designated locations in a timely manner
• Load and unload product from the delivery vehicle
• Follow established routes and schedules
• Check and verify product inventory before and after delivery
• Collect payments or obtain signatures for delivered products
• Conduct routine maintenance on delivery vehicle to ensure safe and efficient operation
• Communicate with customers and address any concerns or questions
• Report any accidents or incidents that occur during delivery
• Follow all traffic and safety regulations while operating the delivery vehicle
• Ensure all delivered products are in good condition and adhere to quality standards
• Maintain accurate delivery records and submit necessary paperwork on time
• Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products
• Assist with loading and unloading products at the warehouse, if needed
• Keep delivery vehicle clean and organized at all times

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a delivery driver
• Familiarity with local roads and routes
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Basic math skills for recording and verifying deliveries
• Flexibility to work on weekends and holidays, if needed
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting is a plus
