Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cattle Herder to join our team. As a Cattle Herder, you will be responsible for the care and management of our herd of cattle. Your main objective will be to ensure the health and well-being of our cattle, as well as maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of their living quarters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily care and management of our herd of cattle.
• Ensure the health and safety of the cattle at all times.
• Administer medication and treatments to sick or injured cattle.
• Monitor the herd for any signs of illness or disease and take appropriate action.
• Assist with breeding and birthing processes.
• Maintain accurate records of cattle health, vaccinations, and treatments.
• Keep the cattle living quarters clean and well-maintained.
• Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and functionality of water and feeding systems.
• Operate and maintain farm equipment such as tractors and trailers.
• Work closely with other team members to ensure the smooth operation of the farm.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with cattle.
• Strong knowledge of cattle health and behavior.
• Ability to operate and maintain farm equipment.
• Physically fit and able to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and walking for extended periods.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
