Job Description: We are currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Air Traffic Controller to join our team. As an Air Traffic Controller, you will be responsible for managing and monitoring the safe and efficient flow of air traffic in a designated airspace. Your main objective will be to ensure the safety of all aircraft, passengers, and crew by providing precise and timely instructions to pilots.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and maintain control of aircraft within designated airspace, using radar, visual observation, and radio communication.
• Direct and guide pilots in takeoff, landing, and during flight, ensuring safe separation between aircraft at all times.
• Provide pilots with weather and flight information, such as altitudes, routes, and potential hazards.
• Collaborate with other air traffic controllers and ground personnel to ensure the smooth and efficient movement of aircraft.
• Respond to emergency situations, providing guidance and instructions to pilots in distress.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all air traffic movements.
• Monitor and report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance issues that may affect air traffic control operations.
• Stay updated on changes in air traffic control procedures and regulations, and implement them as necessary.
• Train and mentor new air traffic controllers, as well as provide ongoing support and guidance to junior team members.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Air Traffic Control, or a related field.
• Must hold a valid Air Traffic Control Tower Operator Certificate issued by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an air traffic controller.
• Extensive knowledge of air traffic control procedures, regulations, and safety protocols.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in high-pressure situations.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Proficient in using air traffic control equipment and technology, including radar systems and communication devices.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
