Key Responsibilities:

Plan and coordinate harvesting schedules to meet production demands and optimize crop yields
Monitor weather conditions and work closely with the farm operations team to make necessary adjustments to harvesting plans
Supervise and train harvesting crew members, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and company standards
Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that only the best produce is harvested and delivered to customers
Collaborate with the Quality Control team to identify and resolve any quality issues in a timely manner
Manage inventory levels and communicate with the Sales team to ensure timely delivery of produce to customers
Maintain accurate records of harvesting data, including yields, production costs, and labor hours
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in harvesting techniques, and make recommendations for improvements to increase efficiency and productivity

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, or related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory role in the agriculture industry
Strong knowledge of harvesting techniques and best practices
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment and lift up to 50 lbs
Proven leadership skills and ability to motivate and train a team
Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience working with inventory management systems
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Able to work flexible hours and weekends during peak harvesting season
