Position Title: Dean of Academic Affairs

Overview: We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced individual to join our institution as the Dean of Academic Affairs. The Dean will be a key member of our leadership team and will be responsible for overseeing all academic programs and initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of academic policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership and direction to all academic departments and programs
• Develop and implement academic policies and procedures in alignment with the institution's mission and vision
• Oversee curriculum development and ensure the quality and relevance of academic programs
• Monitor and evaluate academic programs to ensure compliance with accreditation standards
• Collaborate with faculty to develop and implement innovative teaching methods and techniques
• Lead the recruitment, selection, and evaluation of faculty members
• Foster a positive and inclusive academic environment that promotes diversity and equity
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure the smooth functioning of academic programs
• Oversee academic budget and resource management
• Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including industry partners and accrediting bodies
• Serve as a liaison between faculty and administration, advocating for academic needs and concerns
• Collaborate with the marketing team to promote and market academic programs to potential students
• Represent the institution at academic conferences and events

Qualifications:

• A doctoral degree in a relevant field from an accredited institution
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in academic leadership roles
• Proven track record of successfully managing and developing academic programs
• Knowledge of accreditation standards and procedures
• Experience in curriculum development and implementation
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups of stakeholders
