Job Overview: As the Animal Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire animal production process, from breeding and feeding to processing and distribution. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our company's production meets the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and ethical practices. This is a hands-on role that requires strong leadership skills, as you will be managing a team of animal production staff and working closely with other departments to ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement production plans and strategies to meet production targets and ensure high-quality products.
• Oversee the entire animal production process, including breeding, feeding, and processing.
• Manage and train a team of animal production staff, including supervisors, technicians, and other workers.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations.
• Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as sales, marketing, and research, to ensure efficient and effective operations.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders.
• Implement and maintain animal welfare and ethical standards throughout the production process.
• Manage budgets and control costs to ensure profitability.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in animal production.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Animal Science, Agriculture, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in animal production, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent knowledge of animal production processes, including breeding, feeding, and processing.
• In-depth understanding of animal welfare and ethical practices.
• Experience in managing budgets and controlling costs.
• Ability to analyze data, identify problems, and implement solutions.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Office and production software.
