Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Data Migration Developer to join our growing team at GreenHarvest Producers. As a Data Migration Developer, you will be responsible for migrating and transferring data from various sources into our company's databases. This role requires expertise in data management, database systems, and software development. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data structures, data mapping, and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data migration requirements and timelines.
• Design and develop data migration strategies and solutions to ensure smooth and efficient transfer of data.
• Identify and resolve data quality issues, ensuring accuracy and completeness of migrated data.
• Develop and maintain data mapping and transformation rules to ensure data integrity.
• Utilize scripting languages and ETL tools to automate data migration processes.
• Implement data validation and reconciliation procedures to ensure data accuracy.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data migration jobs to identify and resolve any technical issues.
• Develop and maintain documentation for data migration processes, including data dictionaries, data flow diagrams, and technical specifications.
• Work closely with database administrators and data analysts to ensure data is stored and organized effectively.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in data migration technologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in data migration and data integration.
• Strong knowledge of ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, or SSIS.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, or SQL Server.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Perl.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and methodologies.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
