Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement strategic plans for the farm, including crop rotation, planting schedules, and pest management strategies.
Manage a team of farm workers, providing guidance and training as needed.
Monitor and maintain the health and productivity of crops, ensuring that all organic farming standards and regulations are met.
Oversee the harvesting, packaging, and distribution of produce, ensuring that all products meet quality standards.
Manage the farm's budget, including expenses for labor, equipment, and supplies.
Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop and implement strategies for selling farm products.
Maintain and repair farm equipment, ensuring that all machinery is in good working condition.
Monitor weather conditions and make necessary adjustments to planting and harvesting schedules.
Ensure that all safety protocols are followed and maintain a safe working environment for all farm workers.
Keep accurate records of all farm activities, including crop yields, expenses, and sales.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in organic farming techniques.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in organic farming, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
Strong knowledge of organic farming practices, including crop rotation, pest management, and soil health.
Experience in managing a team and overseeing farm operations.
Proven budget management skills.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
Proficient in the use and maintenance of farm equipment.
