We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Development Director to join our team and help us further our impact.

Summary: As the Development Director, you will play a critical role in the success of our organization by leading and managing all aspects of our fundraising efforts. You will be responsible for creating and implementing strategies to increase donations, cultivate relationships with donors, and oversee the development team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successful fundraising and a passion for making a difference in the community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy to support the organization's goals and objectives
• Identify and cultivate relationships with potential donors, including individuals, corporations, and foundations
• Plan and execute fundraising events and campaigns to increase donations
• Manage and mentor the development team to ensure effective and efficient operations
• Oversee the creation of fundraising materials, including grant proposals, annual reports, and donor communications
• Monitor and analyze fundraising data to identify trends and make strategic decisions
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of fundraising efforts with overall organizational goals
• Build and maintain positive relationships with existing donors, providing regular updates and cultivating ongoing support
• Stay up-to-date on fundraising best practices and trends, continually seeking opportunities for improvement
• Represent the organization at community events and networking opportunities to raise awareness and build relationships

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in nonprofit management, business, marketing, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in fundraising, preferably in a leadership role
• Proven track record of success in securing donations and meeting fundraising goals
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to mentor and motivate a team
• Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Knowledge of fundraising techniques and best practices
• Passion for the organization's mission and values
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and fundraising software
