About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Student Engagement to join our team. As the Director of Student Engagement, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to enhance the overall student experience and promote student success. This is a key leadership role within our organization, and you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive student engagement plan that aligns with the mission and goals of our organization
• Lead and manage a team of student engagement professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful execution of engagement initiatives
• Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to identify and address student needs and concerns
• Develop and maintain relationships with external organizations, partners, and vendors to provide students with valuable resources and opportunities
• Plan and oversee a variety of events and activities that promote student involvement and foster a sense of community on campus
• Utilize data and metrics to assess the effectiveness of engagement initiatives and make data-driven decisions for continuous improvement
• Develop and manage the budget for student engagement programs and activities
• Stay updated on current trends and best practices in student engagement to ensure our organization remains innovative and competitive in the education industry
• Serve as a resource for students, providing support and guidance on academic and non-academic matters
• Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to promote student engagement initiatives and events through various channels
• Foster a positive and inclusive environment that supports diversity, equity, and inclusion for all students

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Student Affairs, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in student engagement, preferably in a higher education setting
• Proven experience in developing and implementing successful student engagement strategies
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve goals
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate with students, staff, and external stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and build relationships with diverse groups of people
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
• Experience in budget management and data analysis
• Passion for promoting student success and creating a positive and inclusive campus culture
