Job Overview: As a Farm Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our farming operations. You will manage a team of farm workers and ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the farm. Your role will be crucial in ensuring that our farms are productive, profitable, and sustainable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and coordinate all farming activities, including planting, cultivating, harvesting, and packaging.
• Monitor and maintain the health and well-being of crops and livestock.
• Develop and implement farm policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Manage and maintain farm equipment and machinery, ensuring they are in good working condition.
• Hire, train, and supervise farm workers, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Develop and manage budgets for all farming operations, including labor, supplies, and equipment.
• Monitor and analyze crop yields, expenses, and profits, and make recommendations for improvements.
• Implement and maintain sustainable farming practices to minimize environmental impact.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in farming techniques.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Farm Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in farm management.
• Strong knowledge of farming techniques, equipment, and industry regulations.
• Ability to plan and manage budgets effectively.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Knowledge of sustainable farming practices is preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
