Job Description: NetConnect Solutions is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Network Operations Center (NOC) Technician to join our dynamic team. As a NOC Technician, you will be responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining our network infrastructure to ensure maximum uptime and optimal performance. Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor network performance and proactively identify and resolve any issues that may arise
• Respond to network alerts and incidents, troubleshoot and escalate as necessary to ensure timely resolution
• Conduct regular maintenance and upgrades to network equipment, including routers, switches, firewalls, and servers
• Maintain network documentation and update as needed
• Collaborate with other teams to implement network changes and upgrades
• Ensure compliance with network security protocols and procedures
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support and maintenance
• Continuously evaluate and improve network processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a network operations center or similar role
• Strong knowledge of network protocols and topologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs
• Experience with network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, Nagios, or PRTG
• Proficient in configuring and troubleshooting network equipment, including Cisco, Juniper, and Palo Alto
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as needed
