Quality Control Supervisor

This is a full-time position, with a typical work schedule of Monday through Friday. Occasional overtime may be required to meet project deadlines. The Quality Control Supervisor will primarily work in an office or laboratory setting, with occasional visits to production and manufacturing areas. Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality Control Supervisor to join our team. As a Quality Control Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of quality control processes within our organization. This includes ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety, as well as implementing and maintaining quality control procedures and protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead a team of quality control technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient and accurate completion of tasks.
• Oversee the implementation and maintenance of quality control procedures and protocols, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Conduct regular quality control inspections of products, materials, and processes to identify any potential issues or areas for improvement.
• Work closely with production and manufacturing teams to address and resolve any quality control issues that may arise.
• Develop and maintain quality control documentation and reports, including test results, inspection records, and non-conformance reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, with the goal of enhancing overall product quality.
• Train and educate employees on quality control processes and procedures, ensuring a thorough understanding and adherence to standards.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in quality control techniques, and make recommendations for process improvements as necessary.
• Manage and maintain quality control equipment and tools, ensuring proper functionality and calibration.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. engineering, quality assurance) or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a quality control or quality assurance role, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership position.
• Knowledge of quality control principles, standards, and regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve quality control issues effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software programs.
• Experience with quality control equipment and tools is preferred.
• Six Sigma or other quality control certifications are a plus.
