Job Title: Environmental Services Coordinator

Position Overview: Our company is seeking an experienced and passionate Environmental Services Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental services and a deep understanding of the importance of maintaining a clean and safe environment. As an Environmental Services Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all environmental services within our organization. This includes managing and implementing policies and procedures, conducting audits and inspections, and providing training and support to staff members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement environmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to assess the effectiveness of environmental programs and identify areas for improvement.
• Create and maintain a database of all environmental permits, licenses, and certifications required for our organization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement sustainability initiatives.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure proper disposal of hazardous materials and waste.
• Monitor and report on key environmental performance indicators to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
• Provide training and support to staff members on environmental practices and procedures.
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulations related to environmental services and make recommendations for improvement.
• Manage and maintain all environmental records and documentation in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Respond promptly to any environmental emergencies or incidents and take appropriate action to mitigate risks.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in environmental services or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal environmental regulations and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and environmental management software.
• Detail-oriented and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Experience conducting audits and inspections is preferred.

Working Conditions:

• This is a Full-time position, with occasional evening and weekend work as needed.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to work in various weather conditions.
• May be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary.
