• Develop data pipelines and ETL processes to collect, store, and process large volumes of data from various sources.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand their data requirements and provide them with the necessary infrastructure and tools.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data systems to ensure their performance, availability, and scalability.
• Optimize data processes and systems to improve their efficiency and reduce costs.
• Conduct data quality checks and implement measures to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in big data and continuously identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
• Work with cross-functional teams to integrate new data sources into our data infrastructure.
• Document data processes, systems, and changes to ensure knowledge sharing and maintain data governance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in big data engineering, data warehousing, or data integration.
• Strong experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
• Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Scala.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
