Job Overview: We are currently seeking a highly motivated and empathetic Funeral & Cemetery Sales Representative to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with families in order to assist them in making informed decisions about funeral and cemetery arrangements. You will play a crucial role in helping families through one of the most difficult times of their lives, providing support, guidance, and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the main point of contact for families inquiring about funeral and cemetery services
• Conduct in-depth consultations with families to understand their needs and preferences
• Present and explain the options and packages available for funeral and cemetery services
• Provide accurate and detailed information on costs, financial options, and any legal requirements
• Collaborate with funeral directors and other team members to ensure seamless and efficient service delivery
• Build and maintain strong relationships with families, providing exceptional customer service and support throughout the entire process
• Utilize CRM software to track and manage leads, appointments, and sales activities
• Attend networking events and participate in community outreach efforts to promote our services and generate leads
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes to effectively educate families and make recommendations for their arrangements
• Meet and exceed sales targets and goals set by the company

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's degree preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, preferably in the funeral, cemetery, or related industry
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with people from all walks of life
• Empathetic and compassionate nature, with the ability to provide comfort and support to families in distress
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
• Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
