Job Title: Curriculum Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Curriculum Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education and a strong background in curriculum design and development. The main responsibility of the Curriculum Specialist will be to lead the creation, implementation, and evaluation of our curriculum to ensure the highest quality of education for our students. The Curriculum Specialist will work closely with our instructional team to ensure that our curriculum aligns with our educational philosophy and goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum that aligns with our educational philosophy and goals.
• Collaborate with instructional team to ensure curriculum meets the needs of diverse learners.
• Continuously review and update curriculum to reflect best practices and current trends in education.
• Conduct regular assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of curriculum and make necessary adjustments.
• Provide guidance and support to instructional team in implementing the curriculum.
• Conduct trainings and workshops for instructional team on curriculum-related topics.
• Research and incorporate new instructional strategies, technologies, and resources into the curriculum.
• Analyze data and use it to inform decision making regarding curriculum development and improvement.
• Collaborate with other Curriculum Specialists to share best practices and ensure consistency across grade levels and subject areas.
• Stay up-to-date on education policies and standards to ensure curriculum compliance.
• Communicate with parents and other stakeholders about curriculum updates and changes.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills in curriculum development.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Curriculum and Instruction, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in curriculum design and development.
• Strong understanding of educational theories and best practices.
• Experience working with diverse learners and adapting curriculum to meet their needs.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
• Proficient in data analysis and using data to inform decision making.
• Knowledge of education policies and standards.
• Ability to think critically and creatively.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficient in using technology for instructional purposes.
• Passion for education and commitment to continuous improvement.
• Experience in a leadership or mentorship role is a plus.
• Teaching experience is preferred.
