This is a full-time position, with the possibility of some evening and weekend shifts. The Jewelry Specialist will primarily work in a retail store environment, with occasional office and production team meetings. This position may require standing for extended periods and lifting up to 25 pounds. Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Jewelry Specialist to join our team. As a Jewelry Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and sales support to our clients. You will work closely with our design and production teams to ensure the successful creation and delivery of high-quality jewelry pieces.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing expert knowledge and guidance on all jewelry products.
• Utilize your extensive knowledge of gemstones, precious metals, and jewelry design to assist customers in selecting the perfect piece for their needs and budget.
• Collaborate with our design team to create custom jewelry pieces for clients, ensuring their vision is brought to life.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of our inventory and pricing to accurately process sales transactions and handle inquiries from customers.
• Handle customer inquiries and concerns with empathy, going above and beyond to ensure their satisfaction with their purchase and overall experience.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new product releases to provide customers with the latest information and recommendations.
• Assist with inventory management, including receiving, pricing, and merchandising jewelry products.
• Participate in store events and sales promotions to drive sales and create a positive brand experience for customers.
• Follow all company policies and procedures regarding customer service, sales, and inventory management.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent, some college or coursework in gemology or jewelry design preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a high-end retail sales or customer service role, preferably in the jewelry industry.
• Extensive knowledge of gemstones, precious metals, and jewelry design.
• Strong customer service and sales skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and point-of-sale systems.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings, as needed.
