Position: Instructional Development Specialist

Location: Horizon Delta Tech University

Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct needs analysis and work with stakeholders to identify learning objectives and performance goals.
• Design and develop instructional materials, including facilitator guides, participant workbooks, job aids, and e-learning modules.
• Utilize adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies to create engaging and interactive learning experiences.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and relevance of training content.
• Select and incorporate appropriate instructional technologies, such as simulations, videos, and interactive activities, into learning programs.
• Conduct quality assurance reviews of training materials to ensure they meet established standards and align with learning objectives.
• Manage the development and maintenance of learning management systems and other training platforms.
• Develop and maintain project timelines and communicate progress to stakeholders.
• Continuously evaluate and improve training programs based on feedback and performance data.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in instructional design and development.
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
• Experience with e-learning development tools such as Articulate Storyline and Adobe Captivate.
• Proficiency in graphic design and multimedia development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Familiarity with learning management systems and other training platforms.
