About the Role: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to join our team. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will work one-on-one with individuals who require assistance with daily tasks due to physical or cognitive limitations. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the comfort and well-being of your clients, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist clients with personal hygiene tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.

Help with mobility by providing support with walking, transferring, and positioning.

Administer medication as prescribed by healthcare professionals.

Prepare meals and assist with feeding, adhering to any dietary restrictions.

Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry, dishes, and tidying up.

Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with clients.

Monitor and report any changes in clients' physical or mental health to the appropriate healthcare professionals.

Accompany clients to appointments and assist with transportation.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of services provided.

Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience as a Personal Care Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.

CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Empathetic and patient demeanor.

Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
