Job Description: As an Apparel Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire production process of our apparel line. This includes managing the production team, ensuring the timely completion of orders, maintaining quality standards, and implementing cost-effective measures to increase efficiency and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement production plans, schedules, and budgets to meet company objectives
• Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions
• Collaborate with design and development teams to ensure the production of high-quality and innovative products
• Manage and train production staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
• Oversee the sourcing and purchasing of materials and supplies for production
• Maintain relationships with vendors and negotiate contracts to ensure timely delivery and cost-effective pricing
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, as well as ethical and environmental regulations
• Monitor and control production costs to ensure profitability
• Implement and maintain production processes and procedures to increase efficiency and reduce waste
• Resolve any production-related issues and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences
• Stay updated with industry trends and new technologies to improve production processes and products

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Textile Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in apparel production, with at least 2 years in a management role
• Proven experience in managing a team and successfully delivering on production targets
• Strong knowledge of garment construction, textiles, and production processes
• Familiarity with industry regulations and standards, including safety and ethical practices
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Proficient in using production management software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to travel for vendor visits and trade shows as needed
