Position: Network Administrator

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and other network devices
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
• Implement and maintain network security measures to protect against cyber threats
• Configure and maintain virtual private networks (VPN) for remote access
• Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure smooth integration of network systems with other systems and applications
• Perform regular backups and disaster recovery procedures for network systems
• Oversee network capacity planning and make recommendations for upgrades as needed
• Maintain documentation of network configurations, procedures, and policies
• Provide technical support and assistance to end-users for network-related issues
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in network technology to make recommendations for improvement
• Conduct regular network audits and implement changes to optimize network performance and security
• Collaborate with vendors for procurement and maintenance of network equipment and services
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to network systems
• Train and mentor junior network administrators as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Network Administrator or a similar role
• In-depth knowledge of network protocols, such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN
• Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices
• Experience with network monitoring tools and techniques
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Professional certifications, such as CCNA or CCNP, are a plus
• Knowledge of cloud networking and experience with cloud-based networks is preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Willingness to work outside of regular business hours, if needed
