Job Title: Senior Accountant

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Accountant to join our dynamic accounting team. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the daily financial operations of our company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practices, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements and reports
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies and procedures
• Create and maintain accurate and organized financial records
• Prepare and review journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and other accounting tasks
• Monitor and analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and variances
• Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff
• Assist with the development and implementation of financial controls and procedures
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely completion of financial tasks
• Participate in budgeting and forecasting processes
• Prepare and file tax returns and other regulatory reports as needed
• Keep up-to-date with industry changes and best practices in accounting

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA certification preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial accounting principles
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven experience in managing and developing staff
• Strong work ethic and commitment to excellence
