Job Title: Public Policy Analyst

Position Summary: We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic thinking Public Policy Analyst to join our team. As a Public Policy Analyst, you will play a crucial role in shaping and influencing public policy decisions. You will be responsible for conducting research, analyzing data, and providing recommendations to support the development and implementation of effective policies that align with our company's goals and values.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct research and analysis of current and proposed policies at the local, state, and federal levels.
• Monitor changes and developments in relevant laws, regulations, and policies that could impact our organization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and insights on policy issues.
• Utilize various research methods and data analysis techniques to evaluate the potential impact of policies on our company and stakeholders.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and other materials to communicate research findings and policy recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with government officials, policymakers, and industry experts to stay informed on policy developments and potential opportunities for advocacy.
• Participate in meetings, conferences, and hearings related to policy issues and represent the company's interests.
• Identify and anticipate potential risks and challenges associated with policy changes and provide proactive solutions.
• Stay updated on emerging trends, best practices, and innovations in public policy analysis and incorporate them into our processes and strategies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, Economics, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in public policy analysis, research, or advocacy.
• Strong understanding of government structures, legislative processes, and policy-making procedures.
• Excellent research and analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information and draw actionable insights.
• Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools, such as Excel, Tableau, or SPSS.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proven track record of successfully influencing policy decisions and driving positive outcomes.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
