Job Overview: We are currently seeking a Community Outreach Worker to join our team and assist us in our efforts to engage and connect with the community. As a Community Outreach Worker, you will play a crucial role in building relationships with individuals, families, and community organizations to promote our programs and services and increase community involvement. This is a fast-paced and dynamic role that requires strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain relationships with community members, organizations, and stakeholders
• Develop and implement outreach strategies to raise awareness about our programs and services
• Identify and reach out to potential partners and collaborators to expand our reach and impact
• Coordinate and participate in community events, workshops, and meetings
• Conduct outreach efforts through various channels, including social media, email, and phone calls
• Respond to inquiries and requests for information from the community
• Assist in the development of marketing materials and outreach materials
• Collect and maintain data on community engagement and outreach efforts
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure effective and efficient outreach efforts
• Stay up-to-date on community needs, trends, and resources to inform outreach efforts

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in social work, communications, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in community outreach or related field
• Strong understanding of community dynamics and issues
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience in event planning and coordination
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and social media platforms
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is an asset

Working Conditions: This is a Full-time position, with occasional evening and weekend work required. The Community Outreach Worker will primarily work in the community, attending events and meetings, but may also work from the office as needed.
