Position: Director of Investment Banking Operations

About the Role: We are seeking a highly experienced and driven Director of Investment Banking Operations to join our dynamic and innovative team. Reporting directly to the Chief Investment Officer, the Director of Investment Banking Operations will be responsible for overseeing all operational aspects of our investment banking division. This is a critical leadership role that requires exceptional organizational, analytical, and communication skills to support our company's growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement operational strategies to support the company's investment banking objectives
• Oversee daily operations of the investment banking division, including transaction processing, trade settlements, and client account maintenance
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies
• Partner with other departments such as risk management, legal, and finance to ensure efficient and effective operations
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer experience
• Recruit, train, and manage a team of operations staff to support all investment banking activities
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and external partners
• Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on operational performance and key metrics
• Manage and oversee all technology systems and platforms utilized by the investment banking division
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure our operations remain competitive and compliant
• Participate in internal and external audits to ensure operational integrity

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in investment banking operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
• In-depth knowledge of investment banking products, services, and processes
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance in the investment banking industry
• Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing operational strategies
• Proven track record of effectively managing and developing a team
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple priorities
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and experience with investment banking systems and platforms
• Certifications such as CFA, CPA, or relevant industry designations are an asset
