Job Title: Academic Program Director

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as an Academic Program Director. As the Academic Program Director, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our academic programs, including curriculum development, faculty management, and student success. You will work closely with the leadership team to ensure the academic programs align with the overall goals and mission of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement academic policies and procedures in accordance with industry standards and best practices.
• Lead the curriculum development process, including identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
• Collaborate with faculty members to ensure course materials are up-to-date and effective in meeting learning objectives.
• Manage and mentor a team of faculty members, providing guidance and support to ensure a high-quality educational experience for students.
• Conduct regular evaluations of faculty performance and make recommendations for professional development opportunities.
• Oversee the academic advising process and provide support to students in developing academic plans and achieving their educational goals.
• Work closely with the admissions team to ensure a smooth transition for new students into the academic programs.
• Monitor student progress and success rates, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to increase retention and graduation rates.
• Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement initiatives that support student success and enhance the overall student experience.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in education to continuously improve the academic programs.

Qualifications:

• Master's or Doctoral degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in academic program management.
• Strong understanding of curriculum development and assessment.
• Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to mentor and motivate a team of faculty members.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing successful academic programs.
• Knowledge of current trends and best practices in higher education.
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions.
• Familiarity with accreditation processes and standards.
