Position: Investment Director

Location: Tafuna, American Samoa

Overview: CapitalBoost Capital is seeking an experienced and driven Investment Director to join our team. As the Investment Director, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our investment portfolio, including identifying new investment opportunities, managing existing investments, and developing strategic investment plans. This is a high-level position that requires strong leadership skills, financial expertise, and a deep understanding of market trends and investment strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive investment strategy that aligns with the company's overall goals and objectives
• Identify and evaluate potential investment opportunities in various industries and markets
• Conduct thorough due diligence on potential investments, including financial analysis, risk assessment, and market research
• Negotiate investment deals and manage all aspects of the investment process, from initial negotiations to final closing
• Monitor and manage the performance of existing investments, making recommendations for adjustments or divestments as needed
• Stay up-to-date on market trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes that may impact the company's investments
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, partners, and industry professionals
• Provide regular reports and updates on the company's investment portfolio to senior management and investors
• Lead and mentor a team of investment professionals, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities
• Collaborate with other departments, such as finance, legal, and marketing, to ensure alignment and cooperation on investment-related matters

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in investment management, with a proven track record of successful investments and portfolio management
• Strong understanding of financial modeling, valuation techniques, and investment analysis
• In-depth knowledge of various investment strategies, including private equity, venture capital, real estate, and hedge funds
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
• Leadership experience, with the ability to motivate and mentor a team towards achieving goals
• Proven ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Solid understanding of risk management and compliance regulations
• Professional certifications such as CFA, CAIA, or CPA are highly desirable
