Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough credit analyses on loan and credit applications submitted by individuals and businesses.
Review financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant documents to determine creditworthiness.
Analyze credit data and financial statements to determine the financial health of applicants.
Utilize credit scoring models and other tools to assess the risk involved in lending money.
Collaborate with loan officers and other team members to gather necessary information and make informed decisions.
Prepare detailed credit reports and present findings to senior management for review.
Monitor existing credit accounts and provide recommendations for risk mitigation.
Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to credit analysis.
Maintain accurate and organized records of credit evaluations and decisions.
Communicate with clients and provide explanations for credit decisions when necessary.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Credit Analyst or similar role.
Strong knowledge of financial analysis, credit scoring models, and risk assessment.
Experience in the banking or financial services industry is preferred.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with large amounts of data.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to make sound decisions under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
