Position: Online Curriculum Developer

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Online Curriculum Developer to join our team. As an Online Curriculum Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing online curriculums for various learning platforms. You will play a critical role in ensuring that our online courses are engaging, informative, and effective in meeting the learning objectives of our students. Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify learning objectives and course content for online courses
• Develop and design online course materials, including lesson plans, presentations, assessments, and other instructional materials
• Utilize instructional design principles to create engaging and interactive learning experiences
• Incorporate multimedia elements, such as videos, animations, and simulations, to enhance the learning experience
• Ensure that all course materials are accessible and comply with relevant accessibility standards
• Conduct quality assurance reviews to ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of course materials
• Continuously evaluate and update online courses to meet changing learning needs and industry standards
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
• Collaborate with other team members, such as instructional designers, graphic designers, and subject matter experts, to create high-quality online courses
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in online education and incorporate them into course development

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in curriculum development, preferably in an online learning environment
• Strong understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning theory
• Proficient in using authoring tools, such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar software
• Experience in designing and developing accessible online courses
• Excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure the accuracy and quality of course materials
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Passion for education and eagerness to stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in the field
• Experience in teaching or instructional design in a specific subject area is a plus
