Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and risks
• Monitor network traffic and respond to security incidents in a timely manner
• Collaborate with IT department to maintain and update security systems and software
• Stay informed on industry trends and regulations related to data security and make recommendations for necessary changes to policies and procedures
• Train employees on data security best practices and protocols
• Conduct regular testing of security systems and protocols to ensure effectiveness
• Work closely with legal team to ensure compliance with all data protection laws and regulations
• Serve as the point of contact for any data security related inquiries or incidents

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in data security or a similar role
• Strong knowledge of data security best practices, protocols, and regulations
• Experience with security software and tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex information to non-technical stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with disaster recovery planning and implementation is a plus
• Certifications in data security, such as CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+, are preferred
