Position: Public Safety Officer

Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated, dedicated, and responsible individual to join our team as a Public Safety Officer. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our community. As a Public Safety Officer, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others and contribute to creating a safe and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular patrols on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to monitor and respond to any safety or security concerns on the property.
• Enforce all rules and regulations related to safety and security, including but not limited to traffic control, parking enforcement, and access control.
• Respond to emergency situations and provide assistance to individuals in need, including administering first aid and summoning additional support as necessary.
• Investigate and document all incidents, accidents, and suspicious activities in a timely and accurate manner.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement, fire, and medical personnel as needed to resolve any safety or security issues.
• Provide exceptional customer service to all residents, guests, and staff by addressing any concerns or questions in a timely and professional manner.
• Monitor and maintain all security equipment, including cameras, alarms, and emergency systems, to ensure they are in proper working order.
• Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current on safety and security procedures and protocols.
• Perform various administrative tasks such as writing reports, maintaining records, and completing incident forms.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in security or a similar role.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and have a clean driving record.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and act quickly in emergency situations.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Proficient in using basic computer applications.
• Physical ability to perform all duties, including walking, standing, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
