Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement data science strategies that align with the company's overall vision and goals.
Lead and manage a team of data scientists, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure their professional growth and success.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and opportunities for data-driven solutions.
Design and implement data analysis processes, tools, and systems to mine and analyze large, complex datasets.
Utilize statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms to develop predictive models and insights.
Interpret and communicate complex data findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science and technology and identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
Ensure data security and compliance with all relevant regulations and policies.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
Proven experience (5+ years) in a data science or analytics role, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial position.
Extensive knowledge of data mining, statistical analysis, and machine learning techniques.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL, and experience with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI).
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong leadership, project management, and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with data security, privacy, and compliance regulations.
