Position Overview: As a Data Verification Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of data within our organization. Your main objective will be to review, analyze, and verify data to ensure its integrity and quality. You will work closely with various departments to identify and resolve any discrepancies or errors in the data, ensuring that our organization has reliable and accurate information to make informed decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and verify data from various sources including databases, spreadsheets, and reports to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Identify and investigate any discrepancies or errors in the data and work with the appropriate teams to resolve them in a timely manner
• Develop and implement data verification processes and procedures to maintain data integrity
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and provide recommendations for improvement
• Communicate any data issues or concerns to the relevant stakeholders and provide regular updates on the status of data verification
• Perform data quality checks and audits to ensure compliance with company standards and regulations
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of data verification activities and results
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to increase efficiency and accuracy of data verification
• Stay updated on industry best practices and trends related to data verification and make recommendations for implementation as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in data verification, data analysis, or a similar role
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
• Proficient in data analysis tools and techniques such as SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
• Knowledge of data governance and data quality principles
• Experience with data management and data verification processes is preferred
• Certification in data-related fields is a plus
