Job Title: Clothing Care Specialist

Job Location: Brikama, Gambia

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Clothing Care Specialist to join our team. As a Clothing Care Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that all clothing items are properly handled and cared for, maintaining the highest standards of quality and presentation. You will play a critical role in maintaining the overall reputation of our brand and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect all incoming garments to identify any stains, damages, or alterations needed
• Use appropriate cleaning techniques and products to remove stains and odors from clothing items
• Operate and maintain all cleaning equipment according to standard procedures
• Sort and organize cleaned items for proper storage and distribution
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints regarding clothing care and provide prompt resolution
• Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times
• Follow established safety and sanitation procedures
• Keep track of inventory and order necessary supplies when needed
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in clothing care techniques

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in clothing care or a related field
• Knowledge of various fabrics and their care requirements
• Familiarity with different cleaning techniques and products
• Ability to operate and maintain cleaning equipment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to spot stains and damages
• Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Ability to lift and move heavy items as needed
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
