Job Title: Data Engineer

Job Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining our company's data infrastructure. Your primary focus will be on developing and implementing data pipelines to collect, process, and store large amounts of data. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data availability, accuracy, and reliability for various business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines to collect, process, and store large amounts of data from various sources
• Develop and implement data models, database schemas, and data warehouses to support business intelligence and analytics
• Ensure data quality and consistency by setting up data validation and monitoring processes
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and provide data solutions
• Optimize and tune data pipelines for performance and scalability
• Troubleshoot and debug data issues in a timely manner
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and tools in the data engineering space and make recommendations for improvements to the data infrastructure
• Document data processes and procedures for future reference and knowledge sharing

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role, with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in data engineering
• Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle
• Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL/ELT processes
• Proficient in one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala
• Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
