Position Title: Professor of Education

Position Summary: We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Professor of Education to join our prestigious institution. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education, with a proven track record of teaching, research, and academic leadership. Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver engaging and innovative courses in education at the undergraduate and graduate levels
• Mentor and advise students, providing guidance and support in their academic and professional development
• Conduct and publish original research in the field of education, contributing to the advancement of knowledge and understanding in the discipline
• Collaborate with colleagues on research projects and publications
• Participate in departmental and university committees and initiatives, providing leadership and expertise in the field of education
• Stay current with developments in the field of education, incorporating new trends and best practices into teaching and research
• Foster a culture of inclusivity and diversity in the classroom and academic community
• Engage with the local and global education community through partnerships, conferences, and other professional activities
• Supervise and evaluate graduate students and their research projects
• Serve as a resource for colleagues and students, providing mentorship and support in their academic pursuits

Qualifications:

• A PhD in Education or a closely related field
• A minimum of 5 years of teaching experience at the post-secondary level
• A strong record of research and publications in the field of education
• Demonstrated leadership and administrative experience in an academic setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A commitment to teaching excellence and student success
