Key Responsibilities:

Host live radio shows, keeping the audience entertained and engaged
Conduct interviews with guests, including celebrities, musicians, and experts in various fields
Plan and research show content, including topics, guests, and segments
Coordinate with producers and other team members to ensure smooth and seamless on-air delivery
Engage with listeners through phone calls, social media, and other platforms
Attend events and represent the radio station in a professional manner
Write and deliver engaging scripts for on-air segments and advertisements
Stay up-to-date with current events, music, and pop culture to provide relevant and interesting content to the audience
Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to promote the radio station and attract sponsors
Monitor and adjust audio levels, sound effects, and music during live broadcasts
Adhere to all FCC regulations and guidelines

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Broadcasting, Communications, or a related field
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radio Host or similar role
Excellent verbal communication skills and a clear, pleasant speaking voice
Ability to think on your feet and improvise when necessary
Strong interviewing skills and the ability to make guests feel comfortable and at ease
Knowledge of radio broadcasting equipment and software
Familiarity with social media platforms and how to engage with listeners online
Creative and innovative mindset with a strong understanding of audience demographics and interests
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
