Job Overview: As a Development Officer, you will play a crucial role in the growth and sustainability of our organization. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to increase fundraising efforts, build relationships with donors, and promote our mission.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute fundraising campaigns to meet annual targets
• Identify and cultivate relationships with potential donors, sponsors, and partners
• Develop and maintain a donor database to track contributions and engagement
• Create and manage donor recognition programs to acknowledge contributions
• Collaborate with other departments to align fundraising goals with overall organizational objectives
• Conduct research and stay updated on fundraising trends and best practices
• Manage and maintain fundraising budgets
• Plan and organize fundraising events and activities
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing donors to ensure continued support
• Prepare and present reports on fundraising progress and results to senior management

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in fundraising or business development
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding fundraising targets
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with donors and stakeholders
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Knowledge of fundraising techniques and strategies
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and donor management software
• Passionate about the organization's mission and values
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends for fundraising events
