Title: Recreational Facilities Manager

Overview: We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Recreational Facilities Manager to oversee the operations and maintenance of our recreational facilities. As the Recreational Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that our facilities are safe, clean, and well-maintained for our guests. You will also be responsible for managing a team of staff members to ensure the highest level of customer service is provided at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day operations of all recreational facilities, including swimming pools, tennis courts, golf courses, and other amenities.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the safety and security of all guests and staff members.
• Oversee the maintenance and repair of all recreational facilities, including scheduling and supervising maintenance staff.
• Monitor facility usage and develop strategies to increase utilization and revenue.
• Develop and manage budgets for all recreational facilities, ensuring cost-effective operations and maintenance.
• Hire, train, and supervise a team of staff members, including lifeguards, maintenance workers, and other support staff.
• Ensure that all staff members are knowledgeable about facility operations and are providing excellent customer service to guests.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and event planning, to promote and coordinate events and programs at the recreational facilities.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective repairs and upgrades to facilities.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify any issues and address them promptly.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and health regulations, as well as industry standards for recreational facilities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in recreation management, hospitality, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing recreational facilities, preferably in a resort or hospitality setting.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of safety and health regulations related to recreational facilities.
• Ability to develop and manage budgets.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and facility management software.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
