Position: Program Development Director

Overview: We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Development Director to join our dynamic team. As the Program Development Director, you will play a key role in planning, implementing, and evaluating programs that align with the organization's mission and goals. You will work closely with our executive team to identify new program opportunities, secure funding, and ensure successful program execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the development and implementation of new programs, including conducting research and needs assessments, creating program proposals, and securing funding.
• Collaborate with the executive team to align program objectives with the organization's mission and goals.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including funders, community partners, and program participants.
• Conduct regular evaluations of program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement.
• Create and manage program budgets, ensuring resources are allocated effectively and efficiently.
• Supervise program staff, providing guidance and support to ensure program goals are met.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in program development to inform program strategies and initiatives.
• Represent the organization at conferences, events, and other networking opportunities to promote our programs and build partnerships.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field, Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in program development, preferably in a non-profit setting.
• Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing programs that align with organizational goals and objectives.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively present ideas and information to diverse audiences.
• Experience in budget development and management.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team towards achieving program goals.
