Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement community safety initiatives to prevent and respond to safety concerns within the community
Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services to establish and maintain strong relationships
Conduct regular safety assessments and identify potential risks and hazards within the community
Develop and maintain safety protocols and procedures for various scenarios, such as emergency situations, natural disasters, and community events
Provide safety training and education to community members, including employees, residents, and visitors
Respond to safety incidents and emergencies and provide support to community members in need
Monitor and analyze safety data and trends to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address them
Act as a liaison between the community and law enforcement, providing support and resources to both parties
Collaborate with other departments within the company to ensure a cohesive approach to community safety
Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and trends in community safety and implement them as appropriate

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Public Administration, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in community safety or a related field
Strong knowledge of safety protocols, emergency response procedures, and risk management strategies
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with diverse groups of people
Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to think quickly in emergency situations
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong time management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
Knowledge of local laws and regulations related to community safety is preferred
Valid driver's license and the ability to travel as needed
