Responsibilities:

Conduct regular inspections of crops to identify potential issues such as pests, diseases, and nutrient deficiencies
Implement and maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper water distribution to crops
Operate and maintain various farm equipment such as tractors, harvesters, and sprayers
Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance
Assist in the planting, fertilization, and harvesting of crops
Monitor weather conditions and make adjustments to farming practices as needed
Keep accurate records of crop yields, expenses, and other important data
Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement new farming techniques and technologies
Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
Stay up-to-date on industry developments and advancements in farming techniques

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Agriculture or related field preferred
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
Strong knowledge of various crops, farming techniques, and equipment
Familiarity with irrigation systems and their maintenance
Ability to operate and maintain farm equipment
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Physically fit and able to perform tasks that may require lifting, bending, and standing for long periods
Attention to detail and strong record-keeping skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to work flexible hours and adapt to changing weather conditions
